To perform tarâwîh immediately after Isha is a sunnah of the Khulafâ. The Ahle Hadith perform tarâwîh immediately after Isha whereas Nabi (Sallallâhu alaihi wasallam) did not do so. The Ahle Hadith complete the whole Qurân in tarâwîh which is not a sunnah of Nabi (Sallallâhu alaihi wasallam)…….
Another important feature of the month of Ramadhan is Tarawih. It is a special Salah (prayer) consisting of 20 rak’at which is performed immediately after the ‘Isha’ prayer. This Salah is Sunnah mu’akkaddah….
The aspect of Tarawee is really as clear as daylight. Therefore, one will find that in the Haramayn of Makkatul Mukarramah and Madinah Al Munawwarah up to this day, from the very time of Hadhrat Umar Radhiallahu Anhu, TWENTY RAKAATS are performed in Jama’ah…….
Abdullah Bin Ammar radhiallahu anhu states that Nabi sallallahu alayhi wasallam said: “The fast and the Quraan will both plead on behalf of the bondsmen who keeps fast in the day and recites or listens attentively…….
Tarâwîh Salâh is the special salât which the Sharî’ah has ordained for the month of Ramadhân. Tarâwîh Salâh consists of twenty rakâts and its performance is Sunnatul Muakkadah……
And this Qur’an is not such as could ever be produced by other than Allâh [Lord of the heavens and the earth], but it is a confirmation of [the revelation] which was before it……..
The month of Ramadan is the month of the Qur’an. The Muslim must therefore recite the Qur’an a great deal. The pious Predecessors used to pay particular attention to the Book of Allah……..
